Colour Vases

In my work I am concerned with the soft feel and the fluidity of the material. All works are formed freehand when the glass is molten. I work with different themes and due to the nature of the ideas each piece is unique. I am challenged by working in three dimensions and enjoy the possibility of capturing sensations.

These pieces are created through rich layering of colours. The colours are carefully mapped out before the blowing of the vase, they are allowed to distort slightly during the process and the properties of the compounds are used gently to manipulate the form of the vase.
